You can install WardWiz either by CD or from Website.
Using CD:
Insert WardWiz CD.Double-click WardWiz.exe.While you are installing, simply follow the instructions on installation screen, and then click Next to continue.
Download Setup Directly from Website:
1. Go to http://www.wardwiz.in/loginIf you wish to uninstall WardWiz, please follow below steps:-
Click Start->All Programs->WardWiz Antivirus->Uninstall WardWiz.
OR
Go to control panel. Click on “Remove/Uninstall” option.
WardWiz Uninstaller will prompt for quarantine backup. If you wish to reinstall WardWiz after some time then you can recover those files by installing newer or same version of WardWiz. Otherwise proceed by selecting Yes.
Uninstaller at last will prompt you to restart your system for changes to take effect.
While uninstalling, if any WardWiz application is running, Uninstallation process will prompt to close particular process.
Quarantine backup: Files that are cleaned by WardWiz are placed as a backup into Quarantine folder of WardWiz. While uninstallation, it will prompt if you want to keep the folder or not. If you keep the 'Quarantine' folder during uninstallation, you can recover those files by installing newer or same version of WardWiz.
If you have purchased the box copy of WardWiz then the License Key will be available inside the CD box. If you have purchased the software online, then you will receive the License key to your registered email id.
1. Install WardWiz from CD provided or via online.
2. On the main UI you will find an 'register' button if you are a new user or 'Renew' button if License key expires for existing customer.
3. Click on appropriate button then the page opens asking for your details where Email ID, contact number are manatory fields.
4. Once you are done click 'Next' and reconfirm your mail ID.
5. Enter your License key in 'Activate product' column and click 'next'
If you don't register your product within 30days’ time period from the date of installation, your copy of WardWiz will be considered as void.
You can use registered copy till the subscription period of your WardWiz expires. After the subscription period is over, you will need to renew the subscription for your copy of WardWiz.
Once the subscription of your copy of WardWiz expires, you must renew the product to continue receiving updates against the latest viruses. During renewal, you can renew your copy of WardWiz for required duration.
No, CD is not required for renewal, once the product gets expired, click Renew button on UI and follow the steps to get your product renewed.
Your Serial Number of WardWiz is your Customer ID or Customer Reference Number. Please do mention your Serial Number in every communication with WardWiz Team.
All updates and upgrades are free for registered users till the subscription period of the copy expires.
Submit a suspected virus to http://wardwiz.in/sample/. If virus samples are more than one, submit the compressed file into rar or zip.
This problem may arise if you are using a "proxy server" on your network then you have to configure "Internet Settings" of the registration wizard. This problem may also arise if you or your ISP is using Firewall. Firewall should be configured to allow Registration Wizard to get Internet access.
If you are using an older version of WardWiz, you can easily upgrade to the latest version. You can update WardWiz Online/Offline by following below mentioned steps:-
By default, if your Auto-Live Update option is on in WardWiz tray, it will get updated to latest version of WardWiz automatically. Sometimes, you may need to make sure that latest virus definitions and product updates are installed. In case, if you want to update manually:
Option 1:
Open WardWiz and click on Updates option on UI. If WardWiz is already updated with latest version it will show “Product-up to date” message.
Whenever new updates are available WardWiz tray notifications will be available.

1. Go to http://www.wardwiz.in/product-updates
2. Download latest patch according to your operating system requirement.
3. Run the downloaded file.
4. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
